Self Builders wanted for New Scheme

Have you ever thought about building your own home?

New Linx Housing Trust, based in Louth, wants to hear from budding self builders as it hopes to set aside ten new semi-detached homes for an innovative new scheme.

Alison Gladwin, group neighbourhood project officer for the trust, said: "This is the first time we've done anything like this. It's a way of giving people who might not have the opportunity a chance to get involved in a self build scheme."

A site for the homes has not yet been finalised but it will be in East Lindsey.

Lindum Construction has said it is interested in the project and if it went ahead would carry out part of the work with the self builders taking care of the rest.
